Project Goals

The aim of the Open Science Fellowship is to support and empower individuals who are committed to developing innovative open science tools with resources, advisors, and a team. Astera identifies entrepreneurially minded people who question assumptions, embrace experimentation, and work to make knowledge freely available and FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) with the goal of fostering independent sustainability for individuals after their Fellowship finishes.
