Reviewing All Research Outputs
Prepints and other early forms of research sharing will benefit from assessment, annotation, and commenting of various kinds. This solution will support and highlight reviewing efforts, standards, and services. Initial focus is on preprint reviewing and ways to increase and reward it through a network of key partnerships.
Goals
- Facilitate reviews of early research outputs, including those posted on preprint servers
- Develop an experimental design for collecting evidence on what works and document methods and best practices
- Work with funders and institutions to track and reward reviewers of early outputs including preprints
- Identify and facilitate other forms of assessment on datasets, protocols, code, and other outputs
